Changing the floatchamber needle and seat.

One of the float chambers on the 18/85 flooded once in a while. I decided to use the best
modification available. These are called Grose jets.

The old ones were mostly fine, but to be safe I changed them both. Who likes fuel leaks anyway?

I was told these metal ball Grose Jets (left) were the best solution. But when I fitted them they flooded like never before. Very annoying. I checked them several times and tested them as good as possible. They never seemed to stop the flow entirely while the old ones did.

So now I have used some other used parts that I had in the garage. Seems to be dry now. See how long these last. Maybe I'll order some new old fashioned ones as spares now or try the famous Viton ones next.
