A little drive in a little car

After fixing a few issues it's time for a short test-drive in the Austin Seven Saloon.

The car drives much better now. It is a little noisy. Though not as bad as it seems in this video. For some reason this smartphone distorts high pitch noises.

A nice day for a short Gipsy run

A sunny day, so a perfect day for a short run in the Gipsy. On designated trails and public roads of course.

Canyon de Chelly Video

This a short video impression I made from the clips I could recover from my camera. Although most of the footage was lost, this is not a so bad I think.

Elfstedentocht by Austin Seven

A great run in the Austin Seven at the annual Elfstedentocht in Friesland.
The old dinosaur Jeep effortlessly towed the Seven and our camping gear.

An amazing collection of old cars and bikes of all ages and sizes.

Austin Seven Paddenstoelenrit

It was nice drive in the Austin Ten to Apeldoorn for the Austin Seven autumn run.
Many nice Austins. Mostly Sevens, but also a few nice Twelves.
The old radio building and a very pretty Special.

A short video impression of the run.

Geology road video

Here's very short video I made of driving Geology tour road in Joshua Tree National park. As you can see it is a very beautiful easy drive through an amazingly quiet valley.

The Geology Tour Road is an 18-mile, self-guiding driving tour along a dirt road winding through some of the park's most fascinating rockscape.

Dodge to a new home

The Dodge went to an enthousiastic new owner. For ten years it was part of the Rusty Collection. It was not rusty at all and a very nice vehicle too.
It will be missed, but it leaves space for the other Rusty vehicles. And New Owner has lots of great plans to improve the van.
It is good to have flowers on the table...
Here's a Goodbye-video for the Bumblebus.

Trailering the New Wolseley Ten home

Checking for size.

Admire those lines!

Mind low bridges!

The dashboard and most of the controls are in place.

Up she goes!

On her way to the East.

And here we are. I drove it from the trailer into the garage.
My first drive! See the video below.

Morocco video

Finally I edited the video I taped on my trip to Morocco down to a short movie. Can't help but give the Landrovers a major role. The Landcruiser, "Zebra" Hilux and "Junglebus" play a good part too, but the landscape is most impressive!

Austin Seven Paddenstoelenrit

We were lucky today. Weather was nice and sunny and all the cars arrived at the castle with only a few navigational errors. Not that Lingewaard didn't try to confuse us! No technical glitches at all! Nice cars and great service by the friendly people at Kasteel Doornenburg!

Sedona Jeep video

This is an edition of the video I shot while Jeeping with the wonderful people of Jeepexpedition.org summer 2008. The lifted Wagoneer was very kindly loaned to us. It was a great vehicle that took us all over the Sedona trails.

Tjapukai movie clip

Christiaan, 15 september 2007
Australië Australië, Dimbulah

Tjapukai
