This rotor and cap did not look very good. Time to change to a new set. Leads and plugs still good. 

MGB GT Rusty valance removal

This is actually quite an easy fix. The valance is bolted to the car. The front wings have already been replaced with glassfibre ones. The only recalcitrant bits are some rusty bolts holding the Bumper and valance in place.

After an oil and filter change, grease and brake check, it's time for an extended test drive of the scenic kind. 

Morris Minor Speedometer fix

The speedometer in the Morris Minor was making an awful screaming noise, so obviously the driving mechanism was bad. The Mini speedometer is mechanically the same, so I could use parts of the old speedometer with thos from a mini to make one working instrument.
