80 years ago Market garden ground to a halt before the Bridge of Arnhem, this meant the island between Arnhem and Nijmegen became a no-man's land where the Allied and German forces fought several battles over a period of 198 days. To commemorate this several convoys re-enacted the movements and camped in the old battlefields.

Austin Ten Conway visits the Dutch Pre War Austin Seven Autumn run
Here's a video of our sunday drive in the AustinTen to the Dutch Pre war Austin Seven Owners Autumn event. It was a sunny day and we visited the small but splendid BMW collection in Beusichem. This is a collection of early BMW cars and of course there were several of the Austin-related Dixis.

Overloon war museum visit
War belongs in the museum. This is the motto of the War Museum Overloon and we fully agree! This museum presents the history of the Second World War. The museum houses a huge and impressive collection of artefacts and vehicles, with special attention to the Battle of Overloon.
