Operation Market garden celebrations

A crowd cheered the drivers of historic vehicle and re-enactors, but above all the veterans, 70 years after the battle. Around 30 clubs, and museums decided to join forces to commemorate Operation Market Garden in a grand way.

 

There were smaller vehicles, like this Austin Ten Tilly..

...and large trucks, like this Diamond-T hauling a Diesel locomotive up the hilll.
