Jeep CJ float bowl cleaning.
There was an annoying fuel smell from the Jeep CJ. Time to inspect. The smell seemed to emanate from the Weber.(it's a 2.0 Ford Pinto engine) I couldn't find any leaks in the fuel lines or the tank.
Except for some dirt the carburetor didn't look too bad and the mixture was fine too.
So I cleaned the float bowl while the carburetor was open. Let's see if the smell has gone. Outside there was a definite smell of blossoms...
