Silly sill Mgb

Making a start on the rusty Mgb sill end.
Now the MG has dried out from being dragged out from the shed to the workshop it's time to make a start with the task of recommissioning.  Behind the sill there was an ugly little bit of rust .
This photo makes it look quite bad, but it's only a small area. But is is awkward to reach.  The rest of the vehicle underbody had already been repaired extensively around the millennium change. I was relieved to see those repairs have lasted well.
After some grinding welding, and rust proofing the first step in the revival of the old heap has been taken. There's plenty more to come later: next priority are the brakes.
