The rivers have lost a little of their usual grandeur and in some places it is more of a puddle now. The birds still have to find fish to eat, but it seems there's little fish around, so the birds are looking for food in the deeper sandpits. They are also getting ready to migrate. The low water level uncovers a lot of scrap metal, oildrums and bicycles are some of the most recognisable items.
