Grandma Singer (Singer 12 New Family of 1887)
According to the Singer serial number database this one was probably built in 1887.
This is a Singer 12 New Family. Though the case is missing, the machine has all the parts to be abe to sew.
Here you can see why these are called " Fiddlebase".
The shuttle is present and two bobbins.
Serial numbers indicate 1887.
Even four spare needles.
Proud logo displays the actual model of shuttle used in this machine.
This looks simple enough, but it's very ingenious.
