High waters made for beautiful paddling. Normally this time of year this is a dry flood plain.
It was easy to climb into the kayak on the soft grass. Much better than the usual basalt rocks that line the banks of the summer bed.
The river flows strong and wide
The horses may not be as pleased as we are. Most of the grassland is submerged now.
