Maestro Bumper sticker removal

Someone had put some brown plastic sticky tape on the rear bumper to mask a nasty crack. The tape had cracked as well, so it looked quite desperate.

 

I removed the bumper to fix the crack and decided to clean the surface rust off the back panel. I brushed and sprayed some black Waxoyl on the panel to delay future rust.

 

I used some glass fibre matting and resin to glass the cracked parts together. 

 Then some more glass, resin and filler to smooth the top panel.

 Sanding the whole bumper revealed a few more cracks so smooth out.

 Next and last some freshly canned paint in the correct shade of "Clove" made the bumper look quite respectable.
