Mrs Jones Swan neck sewing machine

Sometimes you're lucky. I was certainly a lucky find pretty Mrs. Jones from  Guide Bridge, near Manchester.
Though one of the legs is broken, the machine is mostly complete.
All steel cogs prove that it is a fairly early machine
The number would determine this old lady was manufactured ca. 1892

" As supplied to H.R.H. Princess of Wales"
With some oil in the right places everything was running smoothly. Amazing quality.
Even the shuttle is still here.
Mrs Jones will need some additional fettling before she'll stitch again, but with the information available on the internet it should be possible.  The Fiddlebase website is a good start to read about these machines.
