Another tropical day saw a plethora of British cars at the annual Autojumble. The Maxis celebrated their 50th and the Minors announced a proud 70, well 71 actually. There was music, fish and chips and car parts. The cars varied from small Sevens to large Bentley contraptions and from gems to wrecks, but most of them drove onto the field on their own power, though a few seemed to have more willpower than engine power. Some people complained that it was hot, but we prefer heat to rain and soggy fields. It was almost a dry heat. We even dragged a toy sewing machine home!
A random selection of posts about travel and tinkering with mechanical machines. Mostly cars from 1937 to 1999, manufactured in English speaking parts of the world, but also kayaks and sewing machines. So here you can see how we travel, drive, paddle, break fix and find on a regular basis.
