Not two Wolseley Tens, but our own "Emilia" has returned to the shed after three years with another custodian, who decided he needed a more practical car. Starbuck the Jeep towed her home on a trailer, because the winter roads were nasty with salt and spray. Starbuck didn't flinch at the salt and the extra weight, even though he did appreciate a good wash with fresh water afterwards.
The Wolseley had not been on the road for the past year, but the engine started fine and brakes are still brisk, so Emilia drove onto the trailer without needing the winch or a push. But she found the ramps very narrow and has requested that next time we use a more comfortable trailer or keep her wheels firmly on the road. Here you can see Emilia back in the shed. In the past three years a few issues have cropped up. She lost a windshield wiper and there is an oil leak from the engine. Also there are quite a few jobs we knew about before she left, so it will be right back to the rolling re-commissioning I started in 2010.
