A random selection of post about travel, and tinkering with mechanical machines. Mostly cars from 1937 to 1999, manufactured in English speaking parts of the world, but also kayaks and sewing machines. So here you can see how we travel, drive, paddle, break fix and find on a regular basis.
Another accidental find, this 1925 Singer 127K built in 1925. Very similar to our 28K, but with a longer bed and this being a later machine the bobbin winder is mounted in a higher position.
Most of the decals are still in good condition.
The machine is complete and the shuttle is in place. Top and bottom threads were still in place and the machine stitches really well. I wonder how long ago this machine was used for the last time. Must be a while as the seller never even tried the machine.
Clever bobbin winder.
Lots of atachments. I think I need to find out how to use them. Just because they are there.
