One of the Universal joints in the front axle of the Baby Wagoneer was making knocking noises. A sure sign the joint was in need of replacement.
I think the joint was the original factory one. Everything was well rusted in place. Here you can see the rusty old swivel unit with the bearing unit and half shaft removed.
But with some effort everything came apart and I could finally extract the half shaft. This is the bearing unit with brake back plate.
And here you can see the nice new Universal joint fitted to the old half shaft. Of course I fitted everything with a generous amount of anti seize copper grease and anti-rust wax.
